Note

I decided to take CISSP exam on Oct 25 this year. I haven't booked the exam yet but that's my hard deadline. I started referring to so many resources and I'm still confused actually.. but as of now these are my study resources and plans..

Study resources:

  1. Started Andrew Ramdayal course on Udemy as Domain 1 is all about Think like a manager mindset and his presentations itself act as study guide - atlease this is what he claims in his course.
  2. DestCert Concise Guide to read - I researched a lot and understood not to be fooled by the word concise in the book title, it's one of the good books to read for CISSP. It's crisp and clear. So, I got this book but I can't afford the DestCert course - it's very costly for me.
  3. I'm currently doing practice questions parallely with studying - DestCert has free question bank app on Playstore/Appstore so that fow now and I'm thinking to purchase LearnZ app subscription as it's recommended app by $ISC^2$

Study plan:

I have hardly 2 months to take this exam and no time to waste so, I was thinking like - watch Andrew's course and there are like 1000 pages in the DestCert textbook, so, 50pages/day side by side everyday and do practice questions - while in cab, during lunch time, before bed, etc.. Also, Andrew claims that about 800 good quality questions before exams would be sufficient BUT EMPHASIS ON Good Quality Questions

Wish me luck and please feel free to write me, email me, etc.. by any methods mentioned here
