I work in cloud security and cybersecurity and I recently stepped into a Product Owner role, which has been its own puzzle to figure out. My mind still runs on tech, though and that is usually where I end up no matter where the day starts.
This is my own space on the web. I use it to write, think out loud and keep track of whatever is interesting, useful, or worth chasing. Some of it is technical, some of it is personal and some of it is just me trying to make sense of things as I go.
What pulls me in
Cybersecurity, cloud, open source, side projects and the under-the-hood side of how things work all keep me hooked. I like building, tweaking, improving and occasionally overengineering things that were probably fine already.
Why this site exists
I wanted a place of my own to share things in my own way. I like explaining, teaching and telling a story when something deserves the extra thought. This blog gives me room to do that without trimming myself down for a platform.
How I think
I'm thoughtful, curious and not especially good at switching my brain off. Once something gets my attention, I'll keep digging until it makes sense. I like honest discussion, clear thinking and people who can go beyond the obvious.
Outside of tech
Outside of work, food is probably the easiest way to describe me. I genuinely enjoy exploring different places to eat, trying new dishes and returning to comfort favorites, especially as a vegetarian who has a soft spot for Indian snacks.
I also enjoy slowing down with music, movies and shows, especially the kind that feel immersive, imaginative, or just fun to get lost in for a while.
Things I enjoy
I enjoy stories in many forms, from comics and detective-style fiction to sci-fi and superhero worlds, because they keep my imagination active and make downtime feel meaningful.
I also enjoy spending quality time with my wife, whether that means playing Uno, doing puzzles, building with Legos, re-watching sitcoms like Friends and The Big Bang Theory, or binge-watching a good series together.
These days
I'm more intentional with my time now. Smaller circles, better conversations, less noise. The older I get, the more I care about clarity, depth and what actually deserves my attention.
